Evie Darlene Breashears

Evie Darlene Breashears, age 80, of Malvern, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 29, 2011. She was born November 6, 1930, in Story, Arkansas the daughter of John Frank and Jessie (Smith) Ray. She was retired from Group Living in Arkadelphia as a care giver and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Malvern. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe S. Breashears to whom she married July 8th, 1946 and preceded her on July 24, 1999 after 53 years. Also by daughter, Marsha Ruth, grandchildren, Dakota Lentini, Sherri Lynn Breashears and Tommy Bell and brothers, Bill and Wesley Ray.

Survivors are sons, James Breashears (Sharlene) of Hot Springs, Curtis Breashears (Jane) of Gum Springs, Eddie and David Breashears of Malvern, daughters, Mary Jo Carter of Santa Ana, CA., Georgia Sveda (Elmer) of Caddo Valley, Dorene Duncan of Malvern, Corene Bragg of Ohio, Kitty Porta (Julian) of Malvern and Jessica Bates (Blair) of Bismarck. Sisters; Eulene Mitchell, Irene McDonald, Kathy Thompson, Dorothy Cobb, Shirley Edward, Wilma Applegate, Brenda Corrnette, Leada Ray, Twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and good friend Pat Sherman.

Visitation is Monday October 31 from 4PM until 6PM at Regency. Funeral is 11AM Tuesday November 1, at Refuge Baptist Church in Story, Arkansas with Brothers Ron Hutson and Blair Bates officiating. Burial in Breashears Cemetery, Story, AR.

Pallbearers are Chad and Thorpe Breashears, Dexter Buyard, Devon Lentini, Julian Porta, and Blair Bates.
