Alan Burton Robinson, 71, of Magnet Cove left his earthly home on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.  He was born on December 28, 1950, in Malvern, to Wilbur and Mary Williams Robinson.  He was of the Baptist faith and worked most of his life as a machinist.  Serving in the United States Army and stationed in Vietnam, in 1971, he was exposed to Agent Orange and has suffered from its affects for over 35 years.  Alan was a hard worker but loved to play as well.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his trike but his grandkids were his everything.  He was a member of Sharp Hunting Club for 40 years.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Sheila Robinson; very recently his brother, Virgil Robinson; father-in-law, Richard Key and mother-in-law, Betty Jane Key.

Alan leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Brenda Key Robinson; son, Brandon Robinson (Sarah) of Malvern; grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Hunter Robinson and Alli Robinson both of Malvern; two brothers, Sherman Robinson (Sandy) and Milton Robinson both of Malvern and sister, Linda Furr of Haskell. Alan loved his numerous nieces and nephews too.

Graveside services, with military honors, will be held Monday, September 12 at 2:00pm at Big Creek Cemetery with Brother Ron Hutson officiating.  Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:00pm at the cemetery.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Robinson, Shane Key, Michael Key, Derek Barber, Roger Standridge and Chris Hollomon.
