Alfred "Kelly" James Tyson, 81, of Malvern completed his earthly journey on Friday, November 18, 2022 in Little Rock.  He was born November 19, 1940, in Benton, AR the son of the late Geraldine and Roy B. Tyson.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Cora Lee Lowe; son, Rodney Earl Tyson and sisters, Joann Dent, Eula Mae Allen, and Erma Tyson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Alfred James Tyson of Texas; daughters, Cynthia Tyson Jenkins (Harold) of Texas and Valeria Lynn Tyson of Texas; brothers William Tyson (Ruth) of San Diego California and Frank Earl Tyson of Columbus Ohio; sisters Ernestine Rice of Flint Michigan, Vera Cooney of Little Rock Arkansas, Alma Tyson of Bryant Arkansas, and Maureen Williamson of Bryant Arkansas; grandson Joseph Michael Jenkins and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Home Going Celebration will be on Saturday, December 3 at 1:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Pastor Gregory Reed officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2 from 5:00-7:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Perla Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Alvin Hooks, Marvin Frison, Chris Norris, Reco Land, William Miles and Joseph Jenkins.
