Amanda Rae Cates Dyer, age 37, of Malvern, AR passed away in her home on September 8, 2023. Amanda was born in Malvern, AR, on March 26, 1986, to William and Linda Barker Cates. Amanda worked as an R.N. at Sherwood Nursing and Rehab. She enjoyed being involved with her daughter's softball. Amanda was a member of South Main Missionary Baptist Church in Malvern, AR. and was also a member of the Arkansas Nurses Association.

Amanda is preceded in death by her father, William Glenn Cates, and nephew Alexander Pace.

Left to cherish in her memory; mother, Linda Kay Barker of Malvern AR; father of her children, Jason Dyer of Malvern, AR; daughters, Adyson and Camryn Dyer of Malvern, AR; significant other, Mike Janson of Sherwood AR; his children, Anna and Alyssa Jansen of Sherwood, AR; brothers, David Anderson of Malvern, AR, and JD Jordan (Cassie Lapp) of Bella Vista, AR; sister, Stephanie Cates of Magnet Cove, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation service will be held on September 16th at Regency Funeral Home from 12-1pm, with the Arkansas Nurses Honor Guard ceremony.
