Arlene (Daniel) Allen, 66, of Gallatin, TN and formerly of Jonesboro, AR and Malvern, AR, passed away November 9, 2024. She was born September 12, 1958 in Malvern, AR to Arlie B. Daniel and Sue (Freeman) Daniel. Arlene was a member of Long Hollow Church in Hendersonville, TN. Her greatest joy came from being a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

After graduating from Malvern High School in 1976, Arlene married her late husband, Stanley Allen, on January 7, 1977. While raising three kids, Arlene taught preschool at First Baptist Church Children's Center in Malvern, volunteered at local schools and in her home congregation of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Malvern, and even used her considerable cross stitch skills to become a professional pattern tester for Leisure Arts Co. She later worked for years at Trio Exclusives Gift Shop on Main Street in Malvern, where she became known for her fudge and welcoming smile.

Survivors include her sons, Drew Allen (with spouse, Moshe, and children Sharon, Avi, and Rachel) of Louisville, KY, and Jon Allen (with spouse, Leslie, and children, Cade and Hadley) of Gallatin, TN; daughter, Lanie Rollings (with spouse, Tyler, and children, Audrey, Hudson, and Carter) of Jonesboro, AR; sister Lynn Johnson James; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, at 3pm at De Roche Cemetery, in Bismarck, AR, with Terry Whitley officiating.
