On March 8, 2022 God called one of his strongest warriors Arthur Eugene Overton home. Freeing him of his Earthly pain. He is now fishing in Heavens golden lake. He enjoyed growing the hottest pepper you can find.  He loved spending time with his wife and daughter raising unique rabbit breeds with them. He was very much an outdoors man. His family and church was his life.

Arthur is proceeded in death by grandparents, Jewel and Ruth Overton and Raymond/ Mitchell/ Lillian Lewis; father, Joel Overton, Sr.; mother, Lessie Gallo; two brothers, Harold and Joseph Overton; two nephews, Alex Overton and Bobby Moore.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Gloria Overton of Malvern; daughter, Rachel Overton of Malvern; son, Carl Needham of Benton; granddaughter, Michelle Needham of Benton; mother, Lilly Overton of Malvern; stepfather, Pete Gallo of Benton; brothers, Joel Overton (wife, Sharon) of Texas, John Overton, Sr. (wife, JJ) of Malvern and Pete Gallo, Jr. (wife, Brooke) of Bauxite; sisters, Rebekah Bearden (husband, Bucky) of Alexander and Lisetta Duke (husband, Sundance) of Alexander; 19 nephews and nieces, many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends who will miss him cruzzin around Malvern in his wheel chair.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 15 at 2:00pm at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Brother Jon Horton and Larry Mattingly officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Burial will follow at Traskwood Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Henry Hamilton, Timmy Jester, Tommy Jester, Steven Lucas, Garey Price, Sundance Duke, Sr. and Johnny Lee Lewis.  Honorary pallbearers will be John Overton, Bucky Bearden and Pete Gallo, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Regency Funeral Home to help family with funeral expenses.
