Barbara Ruth Rimmer, age 73, of Malvern, passed away Friday October 17, 2025.  She was born August 2, 1952 to Harvey and Mattie (Phillips) Brooks.  She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Malvern.  She enjoyed babysitting children for many years and more recently spent her time devoted to being a loving caregiver. She loved doing yardwork and gardening.  She spent many days locally selling produce that she grew in her garden.   She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Angela Henson, son Jessie Henson, and step-son Jerry Rimmer.

She is survived by her husband Elton Young Rimmer of Malvern, step-son Tim Rimmer (Yvonne) of Murfreesboro, TN, grandchildren Dakota Rimmer (Carol), Brandi Brown, Taylor Rimmer (Heather), Courtney Thurbush (Andrew), Derek Henson (Jordan), Blake Henson (Stephanie), Payton Henson, and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday October 23, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Regency Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will follow immediately after at 12:00 PM.   Burial to follow at Phillippi Cemetery near Point Cedar.

Pallbearers will be Bill Heck, Billy Ottinger, Paul Youngs, Jace Burnett, Carl Walker, Justin Arnold, and Austin Ottinger.
