Barry Speakman, age 71, of Malvern, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026.  He was born April 14, 1955, to the late John Willis and Betty (Pearson) Speakman in Van Wert, Ohio.  He was a sheet rock hanger by trade.  He enjoyed music, was an avid outdoorsman, and loved spending time with his family and his best friend, Harold Rucker.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sandra Speakman; brother, Larry Speakman; and niece, Erica Ward.

Survivors include his sisters, Sonja Rucker (Harold) of Malvern, and Sue Dickins (Junior) of West Virginia; brother, William Speakman; nieces and nephews, Buddy Conklin (Michelle), Valerie Hoffman (Joe), Richard Conklin, Sonja Conklin, Tammy Populis (Jacob), Sherry Rucker, and Kelly Duke; several great nieces and nephews including Jaylin Jones and Jai'Marie Rucker; very special friend, Valerie (Momma Val) Conklin; sons, Barry and Donald Speakman both of Florida; and daughter, Jennifer Smith Morrison of Florida.

Family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
