Betty Jean Midkiff, age 83, of Malvern, AR, passed away on Sunday April 27, 2025, in Castro Valley, CA.  She was born on Friday October 3, 1941, in Monticello, AR, the daughter of Earl Midkiff and Rheba Story.  Betty was a beautician, instructor, waitress, and retired as a PCP Preceptor at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs after 11 years.  Betty loved reading, talking to her sister and spending time with her family.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, beloved daughter Pandora Maria House, sisters Bonnie Weibenga and Wanda Telles, brothers Arthur, James Leon and Robert Midkiff.

Left to cherish her memory, daughter, Wanda Showaker (Rich) of Hayward, CA.  Grandchildren Max Fernandez-Dito (Andrea) of San Francisco, CA; Ariel Aquino (Chris) of Fremont, CA; Alex Diaz (Joann) of Malvern, AR; great-grandchildren Miracle Diaz, Remington Aquino, Mason Aquino, and Scarlett Aquino who all knew her as Nana.  Her beloved sister Janie Lou Harper of Malvern, AR.  Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who knew her as Auntie BB.  As well as many cherished cousins, friends, and her sweet dog Max.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 11am-12pm at Regency Funeral Home, 1839 Pine Bluff Street, Malvern, AR.
