Beverly Posey Ledbetter, age 79, of Malvern, went to meet her heavenly father, on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at her home. Beverly was born May 8, 1945 in Hot Springs County, Arkansas to the late Reed and Lorene Posey. She married Milton (Pete) Ledbetter April 6, 1962.They had three children: Tammy Florence, Wilton Ledbetter and Monty Ledbetter.

Beverly worked as a teacher's aide at Malvern and Ouachita Public Schools. She loved working with kids and they would seek her out for hugs. She was very gifted with arranging flowers and decorating for parties and weddings. Since retiring her favorite pastimes were sitting on the deck enjoying the flowers, birds, ducks and deer in her backyard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Wilton Ledbetter, sisters Patricia Keisler and Elaine Rice.

Beverly is survived by her husband Milton Ledbetter, her daughter Tammy Florence (Bill), son Monty Ledbetter (Angie) and three sisters Brenda Burnett (Mitchell), Sonya Nix (Burrell), and Janet Daily (Jerry), four grandkids Matt Burks, Brett Burks, Madison Wilson, Makenzy Hamilton, six great grandkids Brandon Burks, Justin Burks, Aiden Burks, Autumn Burks, Gideon Wilson, Montgomery June Wilson, many nieces and nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 9th from 5-7 pm at Regency Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 10th, at Donaldson Missionary Baptist Church on Highway 222, beginning at 10 am, with Pastor Keith Rowton and Associate Pastor Travis Whitley officiating.

Mrs. Beverly will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Highway 222.

Pallbearers will be Matt Burks, Brett Burks, Conrad Wilson, Wesley Hamilton, Doug Burnett, and Andrew Daily. Honorary pallbearers include numerous nieces and nephews.
