Obituary

Billie Jean Choate, 72, of Malvern, Arkansas went to be with her Savior and Lord January 8th, 2024, at St. Vincent in Little Rock. She was born at home April 12, 1951, In Haskell, Arkansas to the late John Earl and Emogene Reeves. She was a member of Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church and a resident at The Crossing in Malvern. Billie Jean was a very talented singer and loved vintage country and gospel music.  Her hobbies included: rummage sales, Bingo at the Sr. Adult Center, watching the Gaither's, listening, and singing music,and arguing with our aunt Mae.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and her husband Bill Choate.

Left to cherish her memory: sons, Flynn (Melissa)Kettell of Coloma, Michigan, Brian (Meliah) Kelly of Burleson, Texas, and Willam Dixson of Hawaii; brothers, Kenneth (Trish) Reeves, and Wayne (Andrea) Reeves; and her sisters, Pat (Larry) Hensley, Juanita Reeves, Brenda (Jay) Goddard, Darlene (Phillip) Alvis, Karnette (Kelly) Archer; grandchildren, Mallory Kelley, Amanda Kettell, Brandon Kettell, Clay Kettell, Jake Wernette, Max Wernette, and Peyton Kettell; greatgrandchildren, Bradley, Dennis, and Kennedy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13th, at 10am at Reyburn Creek MBC in Glen Rose, with the funeral service starting at 11am with Bro. Todd Bray and Bro. Flynn Kettell officiating.
