Billie G. Pierce, of Malvern, passed away on April 19, 2026.  He was born on March 27, 1931 in Prattsville, Arkansas, and grew up in Poyen, Arkansas.  He was the son of the late George and Wilma Pierce.

A proud veteran of the US Air Force, he served in England during The Cold War, The Korean Conflict, as well as in Athens, Greece.

On November 4, 1951, Billie married Betty Goodman and together they shared 69 years of marriage.  They were devoted members of Damascus Missionary Baptist Church.

Billie retired in 1995 from Precision Industry where he worked as a Maintenance Superintendent.  He enjoyed farming, gardening, and he was always tinkering with something.  He was a member of the Rockport Masonic Lodge #58.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Jean (Goodman) Pierce; brothers, Thelton Pierce and Jimmy Pierce; sister, Doris Cudd; and great-grandson Gabriel Bruce Wood.

He is survived by his son, Darrell Pierce and wife Linda of Malvern; daughter Terri Lucas of Waxahachie, Texas; grandchildren, Neal Lucas (Nicole), Nicholas Lucas (Falecia), Destiny Shuffield, Clint Coffman, Heather Jaros (James), and Caitlyn Wood (Kenny); his great-grandchildren, Xander Lucas, Melina Lucas, Alexa Lucas, Lyric West, Jasper Shuffield, Cameron Coffman, Gabriel Lucas, Jace Laughlin, John Lucas, Jayce Wood, Bentley Wood, Danielle Mahoney (Addison), Drew Coffman (Jessie), Gabbie Foster, Madison Foster, and Juliet Jaros.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, at 2:00 PM, at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church with Brother James Lloyd and Brother Rickey Poynor officiating. Burial to follow at Damascus Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Robert Goodman, Buddy Hathcock, Cameron Coffman, Clint Coffman, Herbert David, and Kenny Wood.

Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Rimmer and Eddie Arivette.

Billie will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his faith, and his service to his country.  His kindness and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
