Billy Ray Davis, age 78, of Malvern, passed away on July 13, 2024. He was born on November 28, 1945, in Amity, AR, the son of Olice "O. A." and Velma Garner Davis. Bill was a member of North Main Church of Christ in Malvern and was a charter member of the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association. Billy worked as a shop foreman for Cal Ark for many years, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved watching westerns.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lynn McNutt Davis; brothers, Calvin Davis, L.A. Davis, and Curtis Davis.

Left to cherish his memory, daughter Missy Smith of Glen Rose (Chris); brother, Wilborn Davis of Malvern; granddaughter, Lyla Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 19, 2024, from 9-10 am, at Regency Funeral Home Chapel, with the funeral service starting at 10 am, with David Burruss officiating.

Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Daniel Benson, John Byrd, Mike Morrison, Austin Davis, Gary Morrison, and Jake Lusinger.

The family would like to give special thanks to Baptist Health Hospital – Hot Spring Co., AR Hospice, and nurses Tiffany, Dana, Johnnie Maye, Dr. Shawn Purifoy and staff from Malvern Family Medical Clinic.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association Fund.
