Billy (Bill) L. Stanley Jr., age 80 of Hot Springs passed away on Saturday August 20, 2022, at Garrett Manor. He was born July 1, 1942, in Texarkana, Texas the son of the late Billy L. and Ruth I. Burch Stanley Sr. He was a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force and then retired from Lockheed Martin as a training manager. He was member of the AAPR, where he was Area Tax Prep Coordinator and a member of the Crossgate Church in Hot Springs. Bill loved to read and anything educational.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Linda Jane Stanley.

Survivors are his daughters, Terrie Madding (Scott) of Cabot, Tammy Passafiume (Scott) of Hot Springs, and Tina Bradford (Steve) of Bartlett, TN; brother, Jack Stanley (Mary); sisters, Betty Beene (Bill), Janice Maloney (Mike) all of Texas; nine grandchildren, Eric, Kristen, Lauren, Hope, Dru, Dane, Audri Beth, Lora; ten great grandchildren, Fallon, Brooke, Lilly, Jolene, Blaydon, Baylor, Sydnee, Regan, Asher, Emerson, Nova, and Tate and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 24 at 2:00pm at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5200 East Broad Street, in Texarkana with Pastor Phil Kramer officiating. Honorary pallbearers are his grandsons.  Lunch will be served at 12:00pm at Northern Hills Baptist Church, 6000 Sammy Lane in Texarkana for any family and friends that would like to join.
