Bonda Brooks Crowder, 91, of Malvern passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. She was born January 1, 1932 in Rolla, AR to Harris Shirley Brooks and Lona Aline Brooks.  Bonda graduated from Lono High School in 1949 and from Henderson State Teachers College in 1953. She taught at the Malvern School District and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Malvern, AR.  She enjoyed playing games, especially bridge and doing puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James W. Crowder, Jr and numerous brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Deborah (Wayne) Hittle; sons, Greg (Lori) Crowder and Brooks (Janet) Crowder; grandsons, Courtney (Whitney) Moore and Wesley (Haddassah) Crowder; granddaughters, April (Matt) Crutchfield, Ashley (Jonathan) Montgomery and Allison Crowder; four step grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sister, Joy (Joe) Faucett; sisters-in-law, Mary Jacks and Jean Brooks and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 7 at 2:30pm at Lono Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Courtney Moore, Wesley Crowder, Matt Crutchfield, Jonathan Montgomery, Kevin Andrusick and Nick Wewe.
