In Loving Memory of Carl Cook

Carl Cook, born January 5, 1951, was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and respected member of his community. He devoted his life to his family, his country, his career, and serving others.

Carl was united in marriage to Judy Hollomon Cook, and they shared 34 years of marriage together.

Carl proudly served his country with 11 years in the United States Air Force and 11 years in the Army National Guard. Following his military service, he continued to serve his community in many capacities. He served for several years as Commander of American Legion Post 11, was a former Justice of the Peace for Hot Spring County, and was a former member of the Rockport Council.

Carl was also a dedicated employee of General Electric, where he faithfully served for 25 years. He serviced and installed medical equipment.

A man who appreciated life and adventure, Carl had a particular love for aviation, motorcycles (a Harley Fatboy), boats, and traveling. He was a former private pilot who piloted his own plane (Piper Cherokee).

Carl was the son of Robert and Eleanor Cook.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Judy Hollomon Cook; his children, Angela Arbuckle, Eva (John) Bailey, Carrie (Jason) Blankinship, Billy (Cherise) Cook; his sisters, Anna (Tim) Bennett and Edna Cook; and his grandchildren, Brinley, Rachel, Christopher, Cruz, Kiera, Corey, Nathan, and Parker.

Carl was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Cook; brother, Bobby Cook; granddaughter, Cameron Blankinship; and his parents, Robert and Eleanor Cook.

Carl's life was one of service, dedication, family, and adventure. He proudly served his country, faithfully served his community, and dedicated many years to his career. Above all, he treasured his family and the memories they created together.

Those who knew and loved Carl will remember his dedication, his adventurous spirit, his service to others, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those around him.

May his memory forever remain a blessing to his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be Monday, October 5, at 2:00 PM, at Regency Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM prior to service. Burial to follow at Rockport Memorial Gardens.
