Carol Jones, age 77, of Malvern passed away Wednesday January 25, 2023 at the Nightingale in Arkadelphia. She was born January 26, 1945 in Boston Massachusetts the daughter of the late James and Ann Yahoub Zarthar. She was a machine operator at Chamberlain Doors until her retirement.

Carol was a member of the St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Malvern, where she had served as eucharistic minister. She loved to be with her children and granddaughter, loved to camp, fish and especially cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Doyce Lee Jones; grandson, Joshua Corey Jones and  sisters, Arlene Zarthar and Millie Egan.

Survivors are her sons, Chris Jones (wife Debra) of Arkadelphia and James Jones (wife Rhonda) of Hot Springs; granddaughter, Raley Jones; sisters, Lori Jones of Malvern, Rita Yarnold of Boston, Massachusetts and Jamie Simpson of Dexter, Maine and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, February 3, from 10am until 11am at Regency.

Funeral Services will be Friday, February 3, at 11AM in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Father Mark Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bower Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Shawn Purifoy, Elite Hospice and Nightingale at Arkadelphia.
