Carolyn Jane Wallis Hopkins, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on March 8, 2024, at the age of 85. Carolyn was born on November 21, 1938, in Gurdon, Arkansas, to Clarence and Beulah Wallis.

She graduated from Malvern High School, where she was a majorette for the Malvern Leopard Band. Carolyn married the love of her life, Harold Hopkins, on August 15, 1958, and they shared a bond that lasted a lifetime.

Carolyn dedicated herself to her family and her work. She began her career at the Leopard Den and went on to work for the textile mill, national lead, and eventually retired from Reynolds Metal/BICC Cable, where she served as a payroll accountant.

Preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Beulah Wallis, her brother John Gordon Wallis and his wife Vivian, and her husband Harold, Carolyn leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. She is survived by her two sons, David Hopkins and his wife Ashley, and John and Gina Hopkins, and her grandsons Houston Hopkins and fiancé Emily Conklin, and William Hopkins, and bonus grandchildren Rhyanna and Cheyanne Perry, and great-granddaughter Arizona Riley.

Carolyn loved traveling with friends and family. Her grandsons cherish the memories of their annual summer trips to Branson, Missouri, a tradition they always looked forward to.

Carolyn was an excellent cook, her delicious pies and Mommaw's sugar cookies were loved by all. Her kitchen was a place filled with warmth and love, where family and friends gathered.

Carolyn was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Malvern, in her earlier years she served in the children's ministry. Her faith was an important part of her life that she made sure to share with others.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12th at 1 pm at Regency Funeral Home and the funeral service celebrating Carolyn's life will be at 2pm, with Houston Hopkins and Rev. Jimmy Bobo officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Assembly of God church in Malvern.
