Carolyn Mae Jones, 76, of Leola passed away January 27, 2022.  She was born October 30, 1945 in Altus, OK to Dewey and Lula Mae Jennings Busby.  She was a member of Third Assembly of God.  Carolyn loved quilting, sewing, making jellies and especially making banana nut bread. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Busby; stepson, David Jones; siblings, Melvin, Dewey Jr., James and George.

Survivors include her husband, David Jones, to whom she married on May 25, 2003; son, Jon (Michelle) Busby of Catlin, IL; stepson, Chris Jones of Little Rock; daughter, Dorothy (William) Burrow of Leola; step-daughters, Marilyn and Sheryl; grandchildren, Nicole Busby, Haley Busby, Mallory Burrow, Alison Burrow and Josiah Burrow; step-granddaughter, Megan Babbs and many other step grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her brother; Jessie Busby of Altus, OK.

Graveside services will be held Monday, January 31, at Lono Cemetery at 2:00pm with Reverend Pete Elliott officiating. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to service.
