Carolyn Kay Roark, 74, of Mabelvale passed away Friday, September 24, 2021.  She was born October 31, 1946 in Chelan, Washington to Lee and Esther Metcalf Cooper.  Carolyn was a CPA and bookkeeper and attended Mars Hill Baptist Church.  Carolyn loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved to go fishing with her late husband Doyle Wayne Roark and her favorite TV show was CSI.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Wayne Roark to whom she shared 52 years of marriage with; two brothers, Joe and Jack Cooper and a sister, Eula Jefferies that passed away on the same day as Carolyn.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Roark of Mabelvale; step-son, Darrell Wayne (Teresa) Roark of Malvern; three grandchildren, Timothy Harold Pratt II, Richard Pratt and Brian Pratt; great grandchildren, Zachary Richardson, Kiera Pratt, Evan Hall, Timothy Landon and Kinley Pratt, Dominic Pratt, Kobe Harding, Jaylynde Johnson, Machi Hunt, Taylyn Pratt and Ariana Pratt; siblings, Shirley Batchelor, Patsy Eli and Jimmie Cooper all of Washington and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 29 from 1-2pm with services starting at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Lindsey-Poyen Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Tim Pratt II, Brian Pratt, Matt Bryant, Gary Baker, Chris Forrest and James Burks and Darrell Wayne Roark as honorary pallbearer.
