Carolyn Stuckey, age 83, of Poyen, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026. She was born April 24, 1943, in Poyen, AR to the late Merida Howell and Mamie (Parker) Webb. She was a member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, quilting, cooking, camping, and traveling. She was a homemaker and also worked as a florist at Jan’s Florist for some time.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Earl Stuckey; brothers, Vernard Webb, Orville Webb, Lindell Webb, Don Parker, Odell Webb, and Charles Webb; sisters, Marguerite Morrison and Sue McCool.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Earl Stuckey; daughter, Rhonda Bohannon (Steve); brother, Lionel Webb of Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Alice Buie of Poyen; grandchildren, Alyx Thomason (Joshua) of Prairie Groves; great-grandchild, Liam Thomason; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends that will miss her dearly.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 2, at 2:00 PM at Poyen Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Bradly McCool and Alyx Thomason officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM prior to service. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.

Pallbearers will be Miles Waldron, Paul Williams, Perry Williams, Steve Webb, Traye McCool, Dion Williams, and Lester Webb.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Speer, Ray Sims, and Phillip Roark.

The family wishes to extend a special “Thank You” to Hospice Home Care for their compassion and comfort while taking care of Carolyn in her final days.
