Carrol Edward Jackson of Antioch, AR, went to join his beloved wife in heaven, October 14, 2023. Carrol was born on May 29, 1942, in Midway, AR, to Wilmer and Lucille Jackson.
He was a beloved member of the Antioch Assembly of God Church, a proud former U.S Marine, a retiree of the US Postal Service, and a true family man. Carrol loved raising and working cattle throughout his life. He showed his heart many times by reaching out a helping hand to friends and strangers. He loved both gospel and blue grass music and spent many years playing both.
Carrol is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Donna Lee Bingham Jackson; mother, Lucille Mills; father, Wilmer Jackson; brothers, Jackie and Charles Jackson, and grandson, Zachary Carl McDaniel.
Left to cherish in his memory, daughter, Cynthia E. Wilton (Marty); son, Casey E. Jackson (Candy); brothers; Jim Jackson (Violy) and David Jeffers (Karen); sisters, Jodie Otts (Rick) and Jannette Annette Jackson; grandchildren, Kristen C. Marlowe, Tyler Jackson (Claire), and Caleb Jackson (Megan); great-grandchildren, Zoey Ava-Marie Tuskey McDaniel, Jordie Beth Jackson, Levi Carrol Jackson, Lane Casey Jackson, and Greyson Spencer Quinn Marlowe.
Visitation will be on Wednesday October 18th from 6-8pm at Regency Funeral Home.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 19th at 11:00am at the Antioch Assembly of God Church with Rev. Danny Bell, Rev David Jeffers, Rev. Nathan Rogers, and Barney Fuller officiating. Burial will be at Upper Antioch Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve Pasley, Steve Ritter, Mark Jackson, Matt Jackson, Mark Morgan, and Carson Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers include Floyd Dater, Larry Beason, Lewis Gene Beason, Wayne Ritter, and Randolf Prince.
