Obituary

Charles Ray Glenn, 76, of Glen Rose passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022.  He was born on September 25, 1945, in Benton, the son of the late Charlie and Kattie Faye Robinson Glenn.  Charles served in the United States Air Force and had worked for Alcoa for 29 years.  He was a member of Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church and attended the ABA Seminary in Little Rock for 4 and a half years.  He loved going to church, teaching and studying God's word and loved his church family dearly and wanted to be there, but his health didn't allow him to go recently.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Elaine; brother, Jimmy; son, Timothy Glenn and stepson, Ronnie Cash.

Survivors, wife of 25 years, Nona Glenn; daughter, Kathy Jo Glenn of Hot Springs; stepdaughter, Pamela Mann (Larry) of Malvern; brother, Kerry Harris of Erie, Pennsylvania; sisters, Letitia Sanders of Benton, Vada Stitham of Denham, Louisiana and Margaret Taylor (Bill) of Benton; grandchildren, Valicia, Jenifer, Brianna, Misty, Courtney and Jacob; eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 22 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be Friday, September 23 at 10:00am at Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Todd Bray, Brother Tyler Bray and Brother Sonny Porterfield officiating.  Burial will follow at Traskwood Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Roy Martin, Peyton Howell, Larry Stitham, Brayden Phillips, Robert Fulton, Russell Evans, Craig Tully and Riley Staggs.  Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Robinson, Milton Robinson, Sherman Robinson, Dennis Byrd and Jerry Toland.

The family would like to give special thanks to his Home Health nurses.
