Obituary

Ray Grizzle, age 79, of Malvern, AR, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, in his home. He was born on August 2, 1945 in Camden, AR, the son of William and Jewell Stiles Grizzle. Charles served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as field artillery. He spent many years in the sawmill industry working at all levels. He found great pride in his work ethic. Ray's favorite past time was to enjoy time in the shed with family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and target practicing.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Melvin Grizzle.

Left to cherish his memory, children, Katrina Grizzle of Texarkana, TX, Scott Grizzle (Tammy) of Tyler, TX, and Danny Grizzle (Shannon) of Hot Springs; mother of his children, Phyllis Herberger of Hot Springs; brother, Johnny Grizzle (Judy) of Xenia, Ohio and Dink Grizzle of Social Hill; sisters, Charlotte Hathcock of Social Hill, Vickie Atchley of Vancouver, WA, and Nancy Thomas (Randy) of Mound Ridge, KS; Affectionately known as "Pawpaw Ray" to his grandchildren, Traci Grizzle Weatherly, Justin Grizzle, Tyler Grizzle, Cody Grizzle, Danyah Grizzle Beaty, Caleb Nicholas, Kodie Arnold, Tyler Wright and Darian Collings; great-grandchildren, Charlee Rae Grizzle, Violet Grizzle, Stella Nicholas, Charlotte Weatherly and one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 1pm, at the Regency Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jason Hathcock officiating.
