Charles Michael "Mick" Quinlan, 80, of Malvern formerly of Decatur, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at his home. He was born May 4, 1943, in Decatur, Illinois the son of the late James Marion and Ellen Maxine Stanley Quinlan. Mick was a member of Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Nascar. Mick loved telling jokes, had a funny sense of humor and was a family man.
Survivors, wife of 18 years, Judy Kay Maddox Quinlan; sons, Timothy Quinlan of Sullivan, Illinois, Gregory Farris (Julie) of Hayesville, North Carolina and Timothy Farris (Sherry) of Lebanon, Illinois; sister, Judy Sumner of Sullivan, Illinois; brother, Jim Quinlan (Suzie) of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Amber Patient (Brad) of Macon, Illinois, Dalton Quinlan of Denver, Colorado, Jason Farris of Murphy, North Carolina, Ashley Farris (Nick Foszcz) of Aurora, Illinois and Justin Farris (Sarah) of Murphy, North Carolina and great grandchildren, Charlie, Natalie, Kamyrn, Paige and Hannah Patient.
The family would like to give a special thanks to their church family at Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church and close friends, Rick and Sadie, Marion and Valerie and Glenn and Janice.
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 22 at 11:00am at Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Dillon Miller officiating.
