Charles W. Ramey "The Old One", age 74, of Butterfield, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026.  He was born in Malvern, AR, to the late Maudine Ramey. He attended First Southern Baptist Church of Magnet Cove and was involved in CASA of Hot Springs County.  He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles.  He was a carpenter by trade and worked as a contractor.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Maudine Ramey and close friend, Gary Dempsey.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 14 years, Sharon (Walters) Ramey; sons, Charlie Ramey (Shelley) and Daniel Ramey (Andrea) all of Malvern and Heath Harper (Meredith) of Carrollton, TX; daughter, Tamara Orosco of Hot Springs, numerous grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, as well as a host of friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 6, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Friday, August 7, at 10:00 AM, at First Southern Baptist Church of Magnet Cove with Brother Aaron Polk officiating.  Burial will follow at Neighbors Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Charlie Ramey, Blake Henson, Michael Otwell, Austin Harper, Hunter Rice, and Derek Henson.

Honorary Pallbearers are Danny Hankins, Sonny Crumby, Mike Coston, and Scott Bennett.

Family will be gathering at 7983 Leau Fraiz Rd.
