Charles R. Scott, 82, of Malvern passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at his home.  He was born September 18, 1940, in Malvern, the son of the late Louis Henry and Ruth Alma Carver Scott.  He worked for Fort Worth National Bank, Safeway, Harvest Foods, Southern State Bank and Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union.  Charles was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, he also enjoyed fellowshipping with Morning Star Church.  He was a member of Kiwanis, Fun Timers, Wednesday morning prayer group at The Place and Noah's of Ark Emmaus Community.  Charles coached baseball, enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood crafting (especially making crosses) and spending time with his three granddaughters.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Louis "Bob" Scott.

Survivors, wife of 57 years, Nancy Scott; son, Daniel "Danny" Scott (Lisa) of Marion, Tennessee; daughter, Shelly Snowden of Malvern; brother, Doug Scott (Glenda) of Little Rock; grandchildren, Lauren Snowden, Blakelea Scott and Carly Scott and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 12 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Burial will follow at Rockport Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ed Thompson, Drew Ruff, Jeff Black, Jim Doddridge, Brian Efird and David Teel.  Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, Mike Pettijohn, Rick Pettijohn, Paul Cochran, Aaron Scott, Justin Scott, Robert Stevens and Stephen Smith.
