Charles Gary Talbert, 76, of Traskwood, Arkansas passed away on September 4th, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to parents Curtis and Alma Talbert, on November 12, 1944, in Saline, Arkansas. Gary graduated from Carthage High School in 1962 where he was involved in basketball and FFA.

Gary was a deacon and faithful member of Francois Missionary Baptist Church where he had also served as Music Director.

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially spending the time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and the many, many children he considered his own.

He married Margaret Ann (McKeowen) Talbert, the love of his life, in 1965 with whom he enjoyed the best of life for 56 years. Gary is survived by his loving wife, his sons Kevin Talbert and his wife, Cynthia, and Kenny Talbert and his wife, Rebecca, as well as his Grandchildren Aubrey, Emily, Lane, Haley and Brittni and great grandsons, Dane, Brody, Kason and Kash. He is also survived by his brothers, Curtis Wayne Talbert, and his wife, Janice and Bobby Dale Talbert, and his wife, Beverly all of Sheridan, Arkansas, and numerous nieces, nephews and greats.

He also doted on his special friends Jake and Jessica Mashburn and their children Aiden, Austen, Ava, Addy, Arynn, Andrew and Annie, Ms. Faye Wise and Brad Crumby.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, from 6-8PM at Regency.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 8, at 10AM in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Brad Crumby officiating. Burial will follow in Francois Cemetery.
