Daniel Franklin Edwards, 44, entered into his heavenly home on Thursday, October 5, 2023. He was born November 1,1978 in Malvern to Gary and Jeanie Edwards.

He was a 1997 graduate of Poyen High School. He began working for his uncle, Allen Murray, at Colorado Log Homes. He was currently working for The Pine Bluff Arsenal where he was a maintenance mechanic. He was a member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church as well as Still Hunters Hunting Club. Daniel was an avid outdoors person. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends. On any given day you could find him outside working in his shop or doing anything outside. If you know the Edwards Family, you know they loved to mow. He followed in his grandpa and dads steps and could be caught doing this almost daily when it was time for this chore to be done.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Lester and Hazel Edwards of Poyen as well as Jewell and Betty Nichols of Traskwood.

He is survived by his parents Gary and Jeanie Edwards of Traskwood.  He also leaves behind his wife of 16 years Denisha Edwards of Poyen and two children, Emma Horn and Beau Edwards. Also left are two brothers, David Edwards of Poyen and Darren (Darla) Edwards of Malvern. His only aunt, Rita Watson of Poyen Nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Ryan) Armstrong, Tyler (Brianna) Turner, Crissy (Bri) Haught, Madison Edwards, Tara Edwards, Ryan Horn and Rylee Horn.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 10th, from 6-8pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 11th, at 11:00am, at Poyen Baptist Church.

Pallbearers are Chris Efird, Kevin McEntire, Blake Henson, Kenny Horn, Kyle Schoggin, and Chad Hammond.
