Danny Carroll Bane, age 67, of Lono, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026. He was born June 3, 1959, in Camden, AR, to the late James and Hazel (Kemp) Bane. He was a member of the Malvern High School Class of 1977 and was a member of the band. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended Victory Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed farming and hunting. He raised and owned English bulldogs and was a member of the Weatherford Horse Racing Association.

He is preceded in death by his parents James Bane, Hazel Bane, and Anita Bane; daughter, Minda Brown; grandson, Xander West; grandparents, Leonard and Mabel Bane, Walter Kemp, and Bedy Ann Holloway.

Survivors include his wife, Sonya (Malone) Bane; son, Landon Mackey of Lono; daughters, Mollie Hill (Jason) of Poyen, Daniele Crosby (Dolph) of Malvern, DeShea Clampit (Marcus) of Malvern, and Alissa West (Shannon) of Wicksburg, AL; 21 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, cousins as well as a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 20, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 21, at 10:00 AM at Regency Funeral Home, with Rev. Eric Ivy and Alan Malone officiating. Burial will follow at Hunter’s Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Garrison Hoover, Hunter Hoover, Peyton Hoover, Scott Malone, Randy Malone, Matthew Seth, and Landon Mackey.

Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Malone, Gene Heard, Roger Heltsley, and Logan Webb.
