Darrell Ray Duncan Jr., of Hot Springs, passed peacefully from this earthly world in his home on Saturday, April 18, 2026.  Darrell was born on January 28, 1972, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late Darrell Ray Duncan Sr. and late Mary Helen Taylor Duncan.  As a young man, Darrell enjoyed hunting and fishing with his step-dad, Wallace Duncan, and his uncle George Duncan.  Darrell attended Arkadelphia High School where he gained a passion for auto mechanics through Ouachita Technical College (Vo-Tech).  He graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1991.

Darrell is preceded in death by his father, Darrell Ray Duncan Sr., his mother Mary Helen Taylor Duncan, his step-father Wallace Elvin Duncan, his maternal grandparents Herbert James Taylor and Mary Josephine Blount Taylor, his paternal grandparents Herman Lee Duncan and Maudie Adele Arthur Duncan, his maternal great-grandparents William Blount and Maggie Mae Brown Blount, his uncles L.D. Duncan, Don Duncan, Melvin Duncan, James Duncan, George Duncan, Gary Duncan, Charles Taylor, Jerrell Taylor, Darl Taylor, and James Taylor.

Survivors are his children: Katelyn Harris (Keith) of Bismarck, Arkansas, and Bradley Duncan of Little Rock, Arkansas; his sister, Holly Avery (Roger) of Waynesville, Missouri; his loving grandchildren, Hayden Harris, Ellana Harris, Grayson Harris, and Levi Harris all of Bismarck; niece, Barbara Campbell (Ethan) of Arkadelphia, and Roger Avery Jr. of Waynesville, Missouri; uncles, Kenneth Taylor of Hot Springs and Tommy Taylor of Benton; life-long best friend, Tracy Lamb of Bismarck, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

There will be a Celebration of Life planned for a later date for family and friends to attend and will be later announced.
