David K. Sampson, age 76, of Malvern, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center-Little Rock. He was born on April 4, 1948, in Malvern, AR, the son of Keith and Evelyn Crutchfield Sampson. David served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War then worked as an oil rig manager for many years. He was a member of Liberty Chapel Church. David was also a member of the Benton Gun Club and the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycles, and spending time with his family.

David is preceded in death by his father, Keith Sampson; mother and stepfather, Evelyn and Ed Wynne; and grandson, Jeffery Sampson.

Left to cherish his memory, loving wife of 53 years, Sharon Sampson; sons, David "Rusty" Sampson (Pam) of Damascus, Brian Sampson (Vanessa) of Benton; daughters, Tracey Thomas of Malvern and Kandi Sampson Cook of Katy, TX; aunt, Betty Murphy of Malvern; uncle, Gwynn Sampson of Fort Smith; grandchildren, Amanda Sampson, Will Ervin, Tyler Malone, Chase Malone, Sethe Malone and Lexi Sampson; great-grandchildren, Lesliee Malone, Everleigh Malone, and Rosaliee Malone; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25th from 1-2pm at Regency Funeral Home Chapel, with the Graveside service starting at 2:30pm at Harp Cemetery, with Bro. Bryan Hughes officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are his grandsons, Tyler, Sethe, Chase, and Will.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
