David Scott Sharp age 60, of Bryant passed away Friday, August 7, 2026 at his home. He was born November 27, 1965 in Malvern the son of Philip and Donna Sandage Sharp. He attended Arkansas Tech and finished his degree at UALR. David was a Call Center Manager for many years, member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ where he served as a Life Group leader and helped with Vacation Bible School for many years. He loved playing guitar, chess, music especially live concerts, deer hunting, trivia, but most of all traveling and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Allison Nicole Sharp, and his grandparents, Harl and Agee Sandage.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Tanya Cox Sharp, son, Joshua David Sharp stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base, daughter Whitney Wilson (son-in-law Kendall) of Sheridan, Grandson, John Henry Wilson, his parents, Philip and Donna Sharp of Donaldson, brothers, Christopher Sharp of Donaldson, and Stephen Sharp of Clarksville, father and mother- in-law, Bernie and Myrene Cox of Little Rock, brother and sister in-law, Brian and Stacey Cox of Cabot, David’s beloved Boxer, Frankie Sixx, and numerous nieces and nephews and host of friends.

Visitation will be from 10AM until 11AM Wednesday, August 12, at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 11AM in Regency Chapel with Brother Jonathan Storment officiating.

Burial will follow in Gilchrist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brian Cox, Kendall Wilson, Terry Gill, Tommy Wornock, Stephen Sharp, and Olen Barham. Honorary pallbearer is Chris Sharp.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. and American Heart Assoc.
