Donna Ruth Fite Little affectionately known as RooRoo, age 78, of Idabel, Oklahoma passed from this life into Heaven on July, 4, 2022.  She was born in Willow, Arkansas to Jessie and Elwood "Buck" Fite on November 4, 1943.  Donna was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law, Jackie Buzzard and Marion Little and sister-in-law, Susan Kramer.

Donna graduated from Magnet Cove High School in Magnet Cove, Arkansas in 1961 and Henderson University in Arkadelphia in 1965.  She also obtained a master's degree in Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.  Donna was an educator for over 31 years teaching in several schools throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma.  Donna taught 23 of those years in the Idabel Public School system.  She was a hero to many children because of her caring spirit and loving heart.  Her fun and carefree nature made her house a very popular stop for Trick or Treaters on Halloween.  She was an avid gardener with the ability to make any kind of plant thrive in the Oklahoma heat.  Donna loved God, family, flowers, fun, Christmas on the Fourth of July but most of all she loved her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory, are her husband of nearly sixty years, James "Butch" Little of the home; son, Ethan Little and wife, Gerrye Sue of Hot Springs, Arkansas; daughter, Dr. Brookes Little and husband, Randy Cantrell of Idabel, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Shelby Little, Hunter Little, Lucas Cantrell, and Tara Cantrell; sister, Gayle Buzzard and brother, James Fite of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, July 10 at 11:00am at Cypress Cemetery in Willow, Arkansas.  Please bring your own lawn chairs.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Idabel Public Library in Donna's name.
