Doris Ann (Nana) English, age 86, of Malvern, AR, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Encore in Malvern. She was born on September 11, 1937, in Perryville, AR, the daughter of Robert and Marie Cook Cockman. Doris worked as the assistant director of the Senior Adult Center in Malvern. She was also a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church and a member of the choir. Doris was a loving mother and Nana, loved to cheer on her grandkids at their sports events, and was a Razorbacks fan.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William (Bill) English; son, Donald English; daughter-in-law, Melanie Gay English; brothers, Bob and Donald Cockman; and sister, Judy Long.

Left to cherish her memory, sons, Doug English, and Ronnie English (Sherry) both of Malvern; daughter, Carla Dugger (Randy) of Malvern; longtime companion, Gene Holmes of Malvern; grandchildren, Amanda Black (Scott), Ryan English (Becca), Randie Dugger, Matthew Dugger, Reggie English (Kristin), Nicole Wilson (Peyton), Don English (Raimy), Dan English (Jessi); seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 17th from 9-10am at Trinity Baptist Church with the funeral services starting at 10 am, with Bro. Tim Carpenter and Bro. Ben Coulter officiating. Burial to follow at Rockport Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Randie Dugger, Matthew Dugger, Reggie English, Don English, Ryan English, and Dan English. Honorary pallbearers are James and Ann Duren.
