Douglas Lee Jones, age 74, passed away on August 28, 2026. He was born January 4, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Luther and Ethelene Jones. Doug was married to Shelia Eppes Jones on September 10, 2005,

Doug is survived by his wife, Shelia; one brother, James (Lynda); two sisters, Kathy (Jim) and Gina (David); his children, Shannon (Eddie), Sean (Bridget), Chad (Shayna); stepson, Shawn (Michelle); stepdaughter, Carla; 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren who knew him as “Grandpa Doug” along with several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Ethelene Jones; a brother, Kermit Jones; a son, Christopher Lee Jones; a stepson, Chris Davis; a grandson, Sean Michael Jones; and nephew Kermit Ray Jones.

Doug enjoyed reading and hanging out by the pool with his beautiful wife at their “Red-Neck Riviera”.

He will be missed dearly by his family and we will cherish the memories made, the way he made everyone feel welcome and accepted, and certainly all the laughter. May he rejoice in the arms of our King for Eternity, never far from our hearts.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 5, at 10:00AM, at Shadowlawn Cemetery in Malvern.
