Doyce Lee Jones, 80, of Malvern passed away on October 3, 2022.  He was born April 24, 1942, in Bismarck, AR the son of the late William Edward "Buster" and Ruth Chancellor Jones.  Doyce served in the United States Navy.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, doing yard work and loved spending time with his family.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Corey Jones; brothers, Owen Edward Jones, Dayton Jones, Billy Jones, Dean Jones, Donnie Jones and Willis Jones and sisters, Christine Mackey and Wilma Stolz.

Survivors, wife, whom he married on July 10, 1963, Carol Jones; sons, Chris Jones (Debra) of Arkadelphia and James Jones (Rhonda) of Hot Springs; granddaughter, Raley Jones of Arkadelphia; sister-in-law, Lori Jones of Malvern and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Thursday, October 6 at 2:00pm at Oak Bower Cemetery with Brother Mike Meeks officiating.  Honorary pallbearers will be Owen Jones, Jr., Brett Jones, Toby Jones, Trey Jones, Luke Jones, Joey Lee, and Colton Jones.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Shawn Purifoy and his nurses and staff for their loving care.
