Eduardo (Mr. Ed) Ortiz Mendieta age 25, of Arkadelphia, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs. He was born January 15, 1998 to Silverio Ortiz Hernandes and Amada Ortiz.

Mr. Ed was a special education teacher for Goza Middle School in Arkadelphia. He loved his students. He was a member of the Sig Tau fraternity and was involved with the Baptist Campus Ministry at Henderson State University. He was pursuing his master's degree in education. Mr. Ed loved his mother and family very deeply. He enjoyed reading his Bible.

He was preceded in death by his father, Silverio Ortiz Hernandes.

Survivors include his mother, Amada Ortiz of Arkadelphia; his sister, Noemi Ortiz and husband, Estebon Rojo; his niece, Emily Maldonado and two nephews, William Maldonado and Daniel Martinez.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, December 1st at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern.

Services will be 12 noon Saturday, December 2nd at Regency Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
