Elbert "Bubba" Lee Wilson, Jr., 29, of Glen Rose went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 7, 2022. Bubba was born July 30th, 1992 to Lisa Gayle Ellis Wilson and Elbert Lee Wilson, Sr. Bubba worked at Watco Terminal and Port unloading barges off of the Arkansas River. He was a graduate of Glen Rose High School Class of 2011. He was a member of Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He gave his life to the Lord and was saved by Brother Todd Bray and was baptized by Brother Jerry Gorge. Bubba enjoyed fishing, floating the Buffalo River, hunting and cars. Most of all Bubba enjoyed spending time with family, especially with his nephew Joshie Haller. He is proceeded in death by his material grandmother "Nanny" Rinda Ellis of Little Rock and his paternal grandfather "papaw" Roy Lee Wilson of Poyen.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mama, Lisa Wilson and pawpaw Billy Ellis of Little Rock; dad, Elbert Wilson, Sr.; mamaw, Pat Young of Glen Rose. His shooting star, his sister, Ashlee Haller; nephew, Joshie Haller of Elkins whom he loved more than anything; uncle, Bill (Crystal) Emma Ellis; aunts, Judy Wilson, Ginger Burnett and Tammy (Steve) Lea. He also leaves behind cousins Grady, Destiny and Gracy (Britney) Jasper Lewallen, Jennifer (Justin) Allison, Amber and Aiden Ferrell, Tory, Alec, and Avery Booher, Stephanie Lea, Valen Burnett, Hunter (Bailey) Ellis, Taylor (Matthew) Mattingly-Ellis and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Todd Bray officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Ida Mission Cemetery in Little Rock. Pallbearers will be Ky Kemp, JD Vann, Brian Wilson, Brandon Harmon, Billy Jackson, and Tylor Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Covenant Recovery, Watco Terminal and Port and the Glen Rose Class of 2011.
