Eleanor Almond, 80, of Malvern passed away Saturday January 14, 2023.  She was born January 1, 1943, in Glen Rose, the daughter of the late Kiah and Chester Denham King.  Eleanor was an LPN for 35 years, where she worked at several hospitals and retired from Dr. Bollen's office.  Eleanor loved going to flea markets and yard sales and playing Bunco and Pokeno.  Eleanor was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church where she loved serving her Lord, by helping and volunteer in any capacity she could for her church.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Vance O. Almond; granddaughter, Macy Michelle Almond; grandson, Landon Dylan Snow; sister, Mary King Boshears and brother, Freeman and Cornice King.

Survivors, sons, Randy Almond (Jennifer) of Benton, Chad Almond of Malvern and Ron Almond (Kim) of Hot Springs; daughter, Judy Lehman (Darl) of Malvern; brother, Gary King of Palm Dale, California; grandchildren, Amber Murray, Ashley Goodson, Amanda Jordan, Logan Gillham, Shelby Snow, Austin Stringfellow, Kennedy Stringfellow, Callie Almond, Maddie Almond, Cody Almond, Chelsea Almond, Ashlee Neal and Kinzee Almond; eleven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 18 from 5:00-7:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be held Thursday, January 19 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Brother James Green officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Cody Almond, Austin Ray, Hunter Murray, Hayden Murray, Brayden Stumon, Zack Snow, Austin Stringfellow, and Bart Gillham.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jace Gillham, Zane Gillham and Drew Snow.

The family will be at 1241 Brownwood in Malvern.
