Ernie Holmes, 51, of Magnet Cove passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his home.  He was born October 17, 1971, in Malvern, the son of Thomas Henry and Joyce Gail Ross Holmes.  Ernie was a member of Magnet Cove Missionary Baptist Church.  He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing and spending time with his friends.  He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Henry Holmes and son, T.W. Smith.

Survivors, mother, Joyce Holmes; spouse, Susan Holmes of Malvern; daughter, Courtney Hall (Joshua) of Malvern; brother, T.J. Holmes (Ginger) of Malvern; grandchildren, Hayden Smith, Brantley Meece and Raeleigh Hall; niece, Jenna Holmes; his dog and best friend, Simon and many friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday April 1, 2023, at 10AM in the Magnet Cove Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Vance Reynolds, Glen Ross, Colton Ross, J.R. Ross, Bill Rickles and Randy Bill.
