Ethel Riley, 89, of Poyen passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Baxter Regional Health Center in Mt. Home, Arkansas.  She was born September 2, 1933, in Poyen, the daughter of Presley and Roxie Wilson Edwards.  Ethel was a longtime member of Poyen Assembly of God Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, singing in church and playing the piano.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson Riley; son, James R. Riley; brothers, Lester "Buddy" Edwards and J.D. Edwards and sister, Lelia Mooney.

Survivors, son, Roger Riley of Poyen; daughter, Regina Allen (Mike) of Mt. Home; grandchildren, Chase Riley, Derrick Riley, Jenifer Riley, Kina Burruss, Scarlett Lewallen, Aaron Murray, Ty Murray and Josh Murray; fifteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday, October 14 at 2:00pm at Poyen Assembly of God Church with Reverend Nathan Rogers officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Burial will follow at Lindsey-Poyen Cemetery.   Pallbearers will be Ayden, Jaxson, Riley, Wayne, David and Petey.
