Etheree M. Nix Jacobs, age 79, of Friendship, AR, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Baptist Health-Malvern. She was born on October 26, 1944, in Rolla, AR, the daughter of Curtis and Orene Walker Nix. Etheree was a beautician for Suds and Scissors and later Tracie and Co. and was a member of Damascus Missionary Baptist Church where she was apart of the Ladies Auxiliary and Choir.  She loved flowers and hummingbirds.

Etheree is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, J.C. Nix, Tony Nix, Eddie Nix, and Lewis Nix.

Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 28 years, Jerry Jacobs; son, Cleve Branum of Chattanooga, TN; daughters, Lana Branum Blankenship (Phil) of Estill Springs, TN, and Jennifer Boyett (Danny) of Friendship; brother, Harold Nix (Sonya) of Batesville, AR; sister, Lovie Hathcock; grandchildren, Ivy Branum, Colton Cook, Paige Cook, Grace Gilbert, Taylor Boyett, Tobin Boyett, Hudson Boyett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 15th from 6-8 pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 16th at 1pm at the Regency Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Rickey Poyner officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Phil Blankenship, Danny Boyett, Colton Cook, Buddy Babb, and Tobin Boyett.

Honorary pallbearers are Harold Nix and Buddy Hathcock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Damascus Missionary Baptist Church.

The family would like to give special thanks to Arkansas Hospice and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Baptist Health Medical Center-Malvern.
