Gerald David Fitzhugh age 81, of Malvern, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. He was born May 29, 1943 in Malvern to Charles Edward Fitzhugh and Beulah Stewart Fitzhugh. Gerald was a homebuilder in Malvern and surrounding areas for over 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mona Head and Kathy Wood.

Left to cherish his memory his loving wife of 34 years, Deborah Fitzhugh, sons, Jerry Fitzhugh (Dana), Bobby Fitzhugh (Claudia), Mike Fitzhugh (Tiffin), Mark Fitzhugh, Kevin Prince (Marny), Randy Fowler and Josh Fowler (Stephanie); daughter, Kristi Reed (Larry); fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Fitzhugh (Linda) and Jimmy Smoke; sisters, Alice Christianson (Eric). Linda Turner (Brent) along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Gerald enjoyed hunting, gardening and especially playing music with a special group of friends every Thursday night at his cabin. His love was unconditional and he was so proud of his kids and grandkids.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 2nd at Regency Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Scott Efird officiating. Burial will be in Damascus Cemetery.

Pallbearers are his loving grandsons, Kelton Fowler, Larson Fowler, Rylan Byrd, Duke Fitzhugh, Brandon Reed and Wyatt Fowler.

Honorary pallbearers are Hunter Fitzhugh, Clint Fitzhugh, Parker Prince and Grayson Prince.
