Gordon Ard, age 48, of Royal passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at UAMS.  He was born on October 26, 1972, in Pine Bluff, the son of James Russell and Gail Brown Ard.  Gordon worked as a carpenter at Crystal Springs Resort for many years.  He attended and was baptized at Royal Baptist Church.  Gordon loved to ride his motorcycle, going boating and fishing and was an animal lover.  He is preceded in death by his father, James Russell Ard.

Survivors, mother, Gail Brown Pierce (John) of Central; wife, Virginia Ard of Royal; son, Colby Gordan Ard of Rifle, Colorado; brothers, Bryan Ard (Terri) of Central, Kenneth Ard of Pine Bluff and Jared Rose (Julie); sister, Mary Ann Romine (Mark) of Bismarck and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and a host of friends.

Services will be held at a later date.
