Obituary

Gwendolyn J. Davis, 74, of Hot Springs passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at her home.  She was born February 2, 1948, in Malvern, the daughter of the late James B. and Parthenia Neal Hogan.  Gwendolyn was a member of the 1 st Presbyterian Church in Hot Springs and formerly a member of 1 st Presbyterian Church in Malvern.  She was an ordained Deacon and Elder.  She loved to read and shop.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, James Hogan, Clarence Hogan and Levesta Hogan.

Left to cherish her memory are husband of 18 years, Ledridge Lee Davis of Hot Springs; sons, Byron Gulley of Malvern and Armando Gulley of North Little Rock; stepson, Stephen Davis of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; stepdaughters, Frances Davis of Syracuse, New York and Dr. Chanty Davis of Macon, Georgia and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be Thursday, February 2 at 11:00am at First Presbyterian Church in Hot Springs.  There will be a reception following the service at the church.

Burial will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
