Harold "Dusty" Douskurt, 84, of Malvern passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 at his home.  He was born July 4, 1938, in Van Buren, Arkansas the son of the late Ollie and Fay Friddle Douskurt.  Harold served for 10 years in the Arkansas National Guard and Texas Reserves. He was 1957 graduated of Malvern High School.  He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the DeMolay.  Harold enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and being outdoors.  Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Gene Douskurt and Sherman Douskurt; great grandchildren twins, Cole Thomas Paine and Riley Mae Paine.

Survivors, wife of 65 ½ years, Eleanor Kesterson Douskurt; daughters, Deena Kate Paine (Thomas) of Malvern, Anya Leah White (Brian) of Malvern and Jo Vallette Douskurt of Malvern; sisters, Shirley Barnett (David) of Malvern and Carol Herrin (Kenneth) of Malvern; grandchildren, Amber Lee Darrow (Angelia), Luke Paine (Krissie), Aubrey Darrow (Courtney) and Jessica Douskurt; great grandchildren, Madison Paine, Cayden Darrow, Khloe Paine and Logan Paine and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 5 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Donis Smead officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Jackson, Edith Ray, Eloise Long, Judith Eifert, James Cranford, Donis Smead and the Family Sewing Group.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Youth Department.
