Hazel Lucille "Lucy" Boyd, 72, of Pine Ridge passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022.  She was born October 24, 1949, in Lono, the daughter of the late William Duffie and Vivian Ilene Riggan Nutt.  Lucy was a member of Little Hope Baptist Church, served on the Ladies Auxiliary for the fire department in Jacinto City, Texas.  She enjoyed gardening and canning, then loved to share with everyone.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one great niece, two nephews and brothers-in-law, Wayne Canada and Richard Carpenter.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, James "Jim" Boyd, Sr.; sons, James Boyd, Jr. of Houston, TX and John Boyd of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Boyd, Madalyn Boyd and Zoey Boyd; siblings, Eugene Nutt (Bridget) of Sheridan, Faye Canada of Malvern, Vivian Lackey (Tommy) of Malvern, Helen Carpenter (Robert) of Walnut Grove, MO, Betty Gregory of Malvern, Huell Nutt (Lameda) of Malvern, Everett Nutt (Vickie) of Malvern, Morris Nutt (Sharon) Nutt of Malvern, Herman Nutt (Marilyn) of Malvern and Johnny Nutt of Prattsville; brother and sister-in-law, John and Patricia Boyd of Fairhope, AL and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 5 at 2:00pm at Damascus Cemetery Brother Gary Duvall.  Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
