Huberta Mae Teeter, age 90, of Hot Springs passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021.  She was born July 30, 1931, in Houston, AR the daughter of the late Hubert and Johnnie Chapman Jones.  She was an educator for many years.  Huberta loved bird watching, painting, doing crafts, traveling, reading devotionals, playing dominoes, go on drives in the mountains, coming to Malvern to get her hair fixed and dropping by Teeters on Fridays.  But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, whom she married on May 31, 1951, Darrel Teeter and her son, Darry Teeter.

Survivors, son, Denny Teeter (Andrea) of Hot Springs; brother, Ken Jones (JoAnn) of Milledgeville, GA; sister, Doris Hill of Millington, TN; grandchildren, Courtney, Halle and Zach; five great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Molly Teeter of Little Rock and sister-in-law, Bobbie McCoy of Houston, and her caregivers, Brenda Anderson, Susan Miller, Jan Smith and Catherine Tart.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 6 from 5:00-7:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be Friday, January 7 at 10:00am at Regency Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Bobo officiating.  Burial will follow at Bowden Cemetery on Crow Mountain. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff at Teeter Chevrolet and the staff at Atrium at Serenity Point.
