J. H. (Jaybee) Crites, age 84, of Rockport, AR, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. He was born to John Richard and Ada (Duvall) Crites. He loved High School Sports, especially girls' softball and was a big Arkansas Razorback and Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved his church and church family and was a member of Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church.

J. H. is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy, Troy, Samuel (Tudor), Carl Ray and Robert Crites; sisters, Johnnie, Betty and Mary Ann; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Left to cherish his memory; loving wife, Ruth Ann (Gammill) Crites; son, Kevin Crites (Dee); daughter, Belinda Crites (David); brother, Harlen Crites (Glenda); grandchildren, Ricci Ann Unumb (Josh), Adam Zaayer, Ethan Zaayer (Katherine); great-grandchildren, Connor, Cole, Eli, Abigail, and Wilder; and his roadcrew sidekick, TJ Thornhill.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27th from 12:30-2pm, with the funeral service starting at 2pm at Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Bobby Goodknight and Bro. Alan Kelley officiating. Burial to follow at Traskwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Chad Williams, Billy Joe Stevens, Eric Daniel, Willard Tackett, Shannon Shepherd, and Bubba Gammill.

Honorary Pallbearers are the Magnet Cove Girls Softball teams, past and present.
